By accessing and using ResearchStation's HelpRef service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

HelpRef is an AI-powered reference extraction and formatting service. We provide tools to extract references from documents and convert them between citation styles.

3. Token System

HelpRef operates on a token-based system. One token is consumed per successfully extracted reference. Tokens are non-refundable once used. Reformatting existing references is free and does not consume tokens.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content. However, you grant us a license to process your documents for the purpose of providing our services.

6. Limitation of Liability

HelpRef is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any errors in reference extraction or formatting. Always verify references before submission to journals.
